HO HO HO A CHRISTMAS SARNIE PARTY

11/29 SARNIE PARTY on a Cold Rainy Day:

We awoke to a cold, windy and rainy day as we prepared to attend the Sarnie Party. Off to Tower Hill Station we went. Glad we started out early as there were disruptions on the District Line. (Evidently there was a fatality causing the disruption)

We alighted at the Temple Station and walked to Somerset House. There we located Setlist where the Sarnie Party was finishing setting up.

A Cabbie. Shelter and they were filming something.

I had booked us the EARLY BIRD BUNDLE
£30 + booking fee
Includes 3 sandwich tokens
Priority queue access.

The priority queue access was well worth it due to the cold and rain. We quickly claimed a nice high top inside near the bar.

So what is a Sarnie, simply a local term for  a sandwich.

The event was described as follows:

Ho ho hold onto your hats, we're on a roll!
The UK's ultimate sandwich festival is back for Christmas
We're back and stuffing Christmas between two slices of bread for our annual Christmas Special.

For one glorious Saturday, Sarnie Party is back with a brand new home, turning Setlist at Somerset House into Christmas sandwich heaven as 15 brilliant sarnie maestros bring you their most outrageous festive creations.

Whether you like your cranberry sauce with a side of party or your prawn cocktail completely reimagined, we've got the sarnie of your Yuletide dreams.

Plus DJs, cold beers, fun & games to keep the vibes vibing.
It's back. It's carbs. It's Christmas. See you there.

Take look at the photos of the various sandwiches which were offered and the photos of the ones we enjoyed.

It was a friendly festive event with a few pups attending. I kept thinking of The Boys and the Havoc they would bring, Koda howling and knocking people over to get food and Kenai not wanting anything to do with all the people.

I digress, the portions were more than adequate and all were really good. We did have 4 sandwiches and were very content. Our favorites were the Prawn Star and Ho Ho Brisket.

Check out the photos of the menus.

London would not be London without Sir Marc Isambard Brunel

Lynn was chilled and the weather was not stellar as we made our way back to the hotel.  Lynn was rather chilled. The plan is to have a chill afternoon and visit the South Bank Christmas Market as tomorrow will be a full day as we visit Bletchley Park.
