DENVER TO SHANGHAI
We got an early start for a 0750 flight to SFO (San Francisco), after a layover we are off to Shanghai Pu Dong.
Nothing to exciting thus far, parked at The Parking Spot, Check In, Documents Checked, through Security and the Club Room. We have a long day of travel ahead of us, but have decent seats in Economy Plus and compression socks and a turkey sandwich we are set to go.
After a bit of breakfast in the United Club, we boarded our flight to SFO. After landing at SFO, we went to the Centurion Lounge and had some French Toast for breakfast #2. Next, we made our way to the gate for our flight to Shanghai (PVG) . All flights were pretty darn smooth and the 13 hours on the long haul was tolerable as food and drink were good. Compression socks were helpful but sleep did not come easy.
After landing in Shanghai, we made our way through immigration and customs. With no checked bags, we were soon out the door and located the shuttle service and were soon on our way to the Shanghai Disneyland Toy Story Hotel, pretty easy to guess the theming of this property. We quickly checked in and were in our room unpacking. The decor of the rooms is really cute. Lynn was hungry, why I don’t know, so we made our way to the hotel dining area. We opted for the Quick Serve location called the SunnySide Market. Lynn had a chicken curry pie and I had a sausage roll, pretty good and I think due to the late hour we got A 40% discount.
Back to the room to unpack, prep for tomorrow and get logs and blog caught up.
Tomorrow we head into Shanghai visiting some old and new location in the city.
OOOOOOHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Nice Room, it has all we need and more
OK THE SHOWER CURTAIN IS KEWL!!
Oh, I loved staying there! Have fun! Shanghai is my favorite city in China. I guess because it has so much European architecture. Please ride Tron at least 2 times for me - my favorite ride. I can't wait till it comes here to Magic Kingdom!
