A RETURNING TO TANZANIA:
Soon we will be headed to Tanzania here at the end of August 0223. This will be our third time to visit this amazing country. Here we will find the Serengeti and the greatest migration in progress. On our two previous trips we were there for the gathering and start of the migration. This trip is later in the season and the migration will be in the northern part of the Serengeti where the herds make the perilous river crossing.
As with most East African Safaris we will be making some internal flights where we are limited to 33 pounds of luggage. Thus we must be judicious in our packing. Laundry will be almost a daily thing.
I will be using an IPad to back up my photos and write our blog. This will be different but weight is a factor.
Here is a map of our planned route. I should mention we will be traveling with National Geographic.
So fingers are crossed for some good images to be created. I also hope a balloon flight might be had, we shall see. (We did fly on our previous trips and loved it)
