Last Day in NOLA
Started the day off with breakfast at Mothers. Lynn had a baked ham and egg biscuit and I had a black ham biscuit and a bowl of grits.
We had arranged for a cab to pick us up at 12:00 so had a few hours to do something. So we decided to grab a street car and ride out through the Garden District.
We got back a pinch early so we decided we might as well go to Cafe du Monde for an other order
Our cab ride got us to the airport early and we were able to change flights and get an earlier one home. Not direct but through Houston. We did get home a bit earlier and will earn extra miles for this detour. Not the best seats but the flights were short.
It was a good trip, could go back to Chicago and spend more time as well as could go back to NOLA and spend more time. Glad we got to spend some time with friends.
We are now home and have to get ready for WDW trip and Election Judging on 11/4.
